These are photos of the area surrounding the LACC.  The average income per household in Wilmington is $28,556 annually.  I think that the neighborhood looks nice for an area that has been labeled "the ghetto".  However, this neighborhood is quite different from that of many of the students at the University of Delaware.

The kids at the LACC have mixed feelings about this area.  Some of them like living here and others do not.  For some of the kids, that LACC is a safe haven.
